I’ve always been a creative child at heart, my mom had to hang sheets of paper on the dining room walls when I was little to prevent me from making crayon murals through out the house, but she never hindered my creativity!

I began oil painting at age 9 and soon learned about acrylics and the easy clean-up and lack of fumes, painting quickly became my favorite medium!

As I grew into high school I took to knitting and crocheting, my mom had shown me a purse she had from the 70’s that I wanted and of course they didn’t make anything like it anymore so I learned to make one for myself! From there I branched out and started creating change purses, scarves, hats and toys soon followed. You name it and I’ll make it was my philosophy. I loved the medium of knitting and soon began making items for friends and family, there was no way I could wear all of my creations! Once my friends and family started receiving them as gifts they started recommending that I sell my items. So I took their word and started my Etsy shop which has continued to expand and grow over the years.

It wasn’t until much later when I was going to college for visual communication design and took a few illustration courses that I fell in love with portraiture, pen & ink and charcoal.

Design and all of the mediums that it encompasses has always been near and dear to me. I’m so glad to be able to offer my many talents to those in need and love learning something new every day.

“Around here, however, we don’t look backwards for very long. We keep moving forward, opening up new doors and doing new things, because we’re curious…and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths.” ~ Walt Disney
